Position Description: Benefit Consultant is responsible for the prospecting, enrollments and service of potential Medicare Beneficiaries. These activities are to be accomplished within Company and CMS guidelines and with a keen eye on compliance of the guidelines set forth by the Marketing Department. A Benefit Consultant will produce at a level determine by the Marketing Department to be acceptable and will work within a team atmosphere to ensure a productive work environment.

Position duties and Responsibilities

- Maintain current working knowledge of all products, benefits and services.
- Arrange appointments with individuals interested in the health plan(s).
- Inform individuals of plan benefits, coverage, network, exclusions and limitations.
- Prepare and submit to management required reports and forms on a timely manner.
- Assist in setting-up promotional activities and marketing presentations to potential members
- Ability to abide by Company, policies and procedures, CMS guidelines and Florida Department of Financial Services rules and regulations.
- Attend all company meetings, training sessions and continuing education classes.

Qualifications:

- Good writing and verbal skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated
- Current Florida Health Insurance License.
- Medicare Product knowledge.
- Professional appearance / attitude.
- 1-3 years outside sales experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual in South Florida
