BPO Advisory-Senior Manager

We are seeking individuals at the Senior Manager level for BearingPoint’s BPO Advisory (Business Process Outsourcing, including Information Technology Outsourcing) practice in New York and other major U.S. locations (prefer Chicago, Atlanta, DC, Houston or Dallas). This emerging practice is part of the firm’s Management Consulting group which provides strategic and transformational business solutions to clients across industry verticals. BPO Advisory is a rapidly emerging capability at BearingPoint operating in a high-growth market, and we are looking for individuals who are comfortable working in a very dynamic environment that provides a broad range of opportunities for personal growth.Responsibilities:

Provide business development support in marketing BPO Advisory solutions to existing and new BearingPoint clients

Manage the delivery of BPO Advisory consulting assignments for large corporate clients, interacting successfully with senior and divisional management across the enterprise

Realize and advance new business opportunities by assisting in the identification of issues and the development of solutions

Pro-actively contribute to the development of thought leadership in the global BPO space

As part of the management team of the practice, contribute and take ownership of activities in practice building, e.g. recruiting, solution development, and marketingPosition-specific Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of consulting experience (“big five” consulting experience preferred) in overall performance improvement strategies, process engineering, shared services and outsourcing. This experience may include work at Delivery Centers and Service Providers with an international delivery component.

Sr. Managers must at least 4 years of successful business development experience from proposal development to contract negotiations.

At least 4 years experience working with senior-level clients in both business development and delivery scenarios.

At least 4 years of successfully leading or participating in outsourcing and shared services client engagements.

Good understanding and experience in engagement financials in both business development (pricing) and delivery

Very strong analytical capabilities and excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Extensive knowledge of outsourcing/offshoring landscape, including geographies, service providers, and vertical processes and functions

Constructive, positive, energetic and entrepreneurial attitude

Undergraduate degree required, MBA is strongly preferredLogistics:Must be willing to travel to project locations weekly: 75-100%
