Asbestos Survey Specialist

WHITESTONE's environmental and geotechnical managers have extensive training and experience in environmental litigation, waste management, environmental auditing, remedial design, remediation management, geotechnical exploration and engineering, and construction oversight. The company's multi-dimensional staff includes licensed professional engineers, environmental auditors, certified professional geologists, civil engineers, licensed asbestos inspectors, certified hazardous waste supervisors, and experienced construction inspectors and managers.
REQUIREMENTS
We are currently conducting a search for an Asbestos Survey Specialist for our Warren, NJ office.



We are looking for an individual with 3 to 10 years of experience performing asbestos identification surveys in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. USEPA AHERA Building Inspector certification required. Individual must also have, or have the ability to obtain, New York State Asbestos Inspector, New York City Asbestos Investigator, and Pennsylvania Asbestos Inspector certifications. Experience with asbestos abatement design and monitoring, lead based paint (LBP) identification surveys, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessment projects is a plus.



Individual will also be responsible for preparation of cost proposals and asbestos abatement cost estimates, as well as the management of asbestos survey and abatement subcontractors. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong technical ability, an excellent understanding of the asbestos abatement industry, and practical experience performing asbestos identification surveys in support of building renovation and demolition projects.
