Architectural Project Coordinator

Purpose: Our client is a comprehensive development services company offering site evaluation, image development, architecture, engineering, interior design, permitting, and construction services and is seeking a qualified Architectural Project Coordinator.

Job Description:

Responsible for design of production of the architectural construction documents, under the supervision of a Project Architect or Project manager, including set up and coordination of the documents.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or higher
-Five years of drafting experience in an architectural office
-Proficiency in AutoCAD
-An understanding of architecture and building construction and knowledge
of codes.

Responsibilities:

1) Successfully perform all duties of a Sr. CADD Technician
2) Produce architectural construction documents and specifications
3) Assist with permitting process, including responds to comments
4) Assist supervisor with administrative tasks for bidding procedures and
construction administration


Requirements for Advancement:
-Record of success as a project coordinator
-Ability to coordinate a group of small projects
-Produce and assist with drawings/details required to communicate with
contractor
-Demonstrate understanding of basic architectural code issues
-Capable of identifying inconsistencies in documents
-Understanding of all phases of architectural process
-Demonstrate successful decision making and problem solving abilities
