Arch Project Coordinator/ Drafter

Purpose: I am seeking a Architectural Drafter/ Project Coordinator with 2+ years of experience for a company who specializes in the design, engineering, supply and installation of curtain wall and external cladding. This is a contract-to-hire position in Gresham, Oregon.

This individual will be doing 30% drafting in AutoCAD and 70% project coordination with Project Managers internally and the customers. The drafting portion will be flab drawings and shop drawings. Drafting will be basic starting from the sheets coming up as templates and then filling in the blanks. The project coordination will begin with taking the project from the estimating phase, creating the shop drawings in AutoCAD, submitting them to the contractor and ordering materials such as doors and frames. Architecture is the discipline and a must have!

Ideal candidates will have a degree and have worked in construction or on a manufacturing floor. This individual must be able to multi-task, handle multiple projects at one time (3 or 4 max), and have an attention to detail to coordinate projects.
