Analyst, HR Planning & Anlytcs
Senior Business Analyst, Planning & AnalyticsThis position is responsible for ensuring that quality service is delivered and that Human Resource programs meet divisional objectives and corporate goals. Acting as an internal consultant, the incumbent will lead a variety of projects. This involves creating and maintaining strategic reporting information; conducting competitive benchmarking and research, process mapping and continuous improvement; conducting productivity and process reviews across all Human Resources functions; and preparing and presenting recommendations to senior management. Emphasis will be on implementing service-level agreements for both internal Human Resources procedures and revenue generating lines of business.Duties also include:
Establishing Key Performance Indicators and tracking progress on key initiatives, along with creating and delivering clear status reports for senior management.
Maintaining open and frequent lines of communication with key HR specialty areas (Compensation, Training, HRIS, Payroll, Employee Relations, International, Recruiting, etc.).
Researching and resolving problems, reviewing programs, tracking and reporting HR metrics and recommending solutions.
Maintaining a focus of continuous improvement on our information delivery to internal and external clients, and networking/strategizing with Planning & Analytics team members to improve client services.
Analyzing and calculating data from multiple sources with a big picture perspective.
Preparing and distributing periodic and ad hoc reports.
Mapping and maintaining project milestones.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Management, Human Resources, Finance or Operations.
Experience in a corporate business environment is preferred.
Exceptional familiarity with software applications, including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
Experience with Visio, Project, Lotus Notes and PeopleSoft Query is preferred.
Database programming skills and knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, and PeopleSoft is desirable.
Ability to understand business needs from a global perspective and analyze data in this framework.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated background in creative problem solving.
