We are looking for an Advisory Software Engineer to execute software design by conversion of product enhancement specifications into high level and low level design documents for a release cycle; Execute software development by implementing and integrating into existing code the low level designs for a given enhancement; Quality control by unit testing software developed; Provide technology assessments, prototyping and demonstrations outside of release cycle; Provide bug fixes to challenging defects in code; Investigate new technologies; Develop efficient ways to improve software processes already in practice. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field plus five years of experience in the position offered or five years of experience as an Application Engineer or Software Computer Specialist. Demonstrated experience in Java, C++, web technologies, database technology, UNIX and Windows.
