Worldwide manufacturer of automotive body structures, lower vehicle structures, suspension components ect, for nearly every major automotive manufacturer in the world is looking for a Materials Analyst. Position is located in their Bardstown, KENTUCKY facility. Relocation is required. This individual will be responsible for determining production priorities and setting master production schedules according to customer's requirements. They would schedule customer orders, and plan and purchase all components ensuring that all quality needs are met. Additional duties would include: working with suppliers to define materials expectations; ensuring JIT delivery; ensure the inventory levels within QAD, I-Supply, MLS and the manufacturing facilities are easily identified.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree in business or related field with a minimum of 3+ years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Candidates must have knowledge of QS9000 requirements, GD&T and PPAP. Understanding of JIT, QAD, I-Supply, ISIR and cost reduction programs are essential. Exp in metal stamping and MFG PRO/QAD is a plus. Understanding and working with MRP and Production Planning Control is desirable.
