Advertising Sales Consultant

Trader Publishing Company, the photo guide/classified publication industry leader in the US (www.traderonline.com), seeks successful inside Advertising Sales Consultants for our Austin office located in south Round Rock. This will be an inside sales position.In this exciting position, you will be contacting high-level company officials in various industries via the telephone from our offices in Round Rock and consult with them on print and Internet recruitment advertising. You will be using a consultative approach to uncover and discuss recruitment needs and challenges for small and major employers in the central Texas area, presenting creative advertising solutions to their recruitment challenges.If you have a background in using the phone to close business for news papers, magazines, targeted publications, or Internet ad space, we would like to talk with you.You can learn more about what we do at www.employmentguide.com.Job Requirements:Minimum 2 years successful sales experience which will be verified.Advertising sales and telesales experience preferred, but not required.Excellent communication skills.Positive, winning attitude and a team player.Problem solving and organizational skills.Heavy prospecting experience.Ability to close high level executives like Human Resource Directors, Business Owners, General Managers and Regional Recruiters.Must be able to commute to our Round Rock office daily.This position offers a base hourly rate, plus commissions, bonuses and award incentives. No cap on earnings potential, as well as opportunities for advancement. Realistic first year income $35-45K. Life, Medical, and Dental benefits. 401K. Company paid training.
