Adolescent Mental Health Worker

The right candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of client behavioral programs by providing care and direct supervision of clients through developing positive relationships with clients and co-workers, following facility policies and procedures, implementing treatment plans, documenting behavior and providing crisis intervention as necessary.
This candidate will have the ability to encourage clients cooperation and interests in various individual and group activities and programs through positive interaction, direct instruction, supervision, feedback and positive reinforcement.
The candidate will be able to complete accurate and timely documentation of client behaviors along with assisting in preparation of other behavioral reports and daily activity logs as required.
The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the behavioral program through proper implementation of the program model.
The candidate will develop counseling skills and techniques under the supervision of program treatment professionals and use those skills to assist in individual or group sessions as necessary.
The candidate will need to be able to work evenings and weekends.
REQUIREMENTS
60 Units or 2 years experience working with emotionally disturbed adlocents. Experience in a residential setting or a bachelors degree in a related field is preferred. Pay depends on education and experience.
