As Lane College continues its long-standing pursuit of educating young people, we are looking for hardworking, energetic, and knowledgeable applicants to fill the following positions:

Admissions Counselors

Job Summary: To recruit and enroll prospective high school and community college students.
Responsibilities: To represent the College at college fairs, expos, private visits, and other events both in-state and out-of-state; make and maintain contact with potential students through various forms of communication; conduct on-campus tours and presentations; and make and maintain contact with high school counselors, and community colleges.
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree; a valid driver’s license and good driving record; experience in recruitment greatly desired; must be self-motivated and goal-oriented; must be prepared to travel extensively; must be prepared to work nights and weekends (if necessary); must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Individuals will continuously patrol the campus on foot to ensure that buildings are secured and lights are turned off. Security staff will also be responsible for discouraging and reporting loud noise and other inappropriate behavior; monitoring vehicular traffic; reporting suspicious vehicles or activities; and monitoring compliance with College rules and regulations.
