Actuary - Senior Retirement Consultant

Bachelor’s degree (Mathematics or Actuarial Sciences degree preferred). License or Certificate Requirements: Actuarial experience in retiree medical and health & welfare actuarial work, ASA not required but advantageous. Does require individual working towards the ASA or FSA designation.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3 to 5 yrs. In consulting industry (employee benefits/retirement experience)
Special skills required:DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide actuarial, technical and project manager services for Aon’s small to mid-sized clients. May also provide project management and responsibility for major or complex larger assignments involving multiple locations. Possess a thorough understanding of actuarial pricing for retiree medical valuations, FAS 106, FAS 112 and IBNR reserves.Specific areas of expertise needed for this position include but are not limited to: Actuarial Valuations Retirement Plan design FAS 106 & 112, VEBA Funding, Government & legal environment for retiree medical plans, Medicare Part D, claims analysis and pricing plan design options.Interacts effectively with client managers and works to understand clients’ plans and how to value and price such programs.Able to train junior level staff on data preparation and use of Aon valuation and pricing tools.AON RECRUITER: Gerald Tinsley(Confidential calls are welcomed 800-765-7005 Ext: 3163)AON OFFERS:
