Accounting Recruiter

Volt Services Group is a leader in the staffing industry. We are company owned and operated with revenues in excess of 2 billion a year. We are looking for a seasoned Accounting Recruiter to add to our San Jose team.
The Recruiter is responsible for matching the skills of field employees to customer requirements, increasing existing business, bringing in new customers and applicants, and keeping gross margins at the highest level possible. This includes a commitment to fill all open job orders daily, working overtime and non-traditional business hours when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and manage a creative recruiting strategy for the branch to bring in applicants through existing and new sources in order to maintain an effective pool of field employees. Utilize electronic process in recruiting and placement to maximize efficiency and time saving.
Interview applicants to identify and summarize relevant experience and hard and soft skills to assess applicant’ssuitability as a Volt employee. Insure thorough documentation that is within company and legal parameters and check references.
Use probing questions to develop accurate job descriptions with each customer.
Successfully oversee the order filling process from beginning to end. This may include: resume and cover letter submittals, coordination of interview time with customer and field employee; timely follow up on submittals and interviews and coordination of any company specific screening and orientation.
Establish pay and bill rates with customers that result in maximum gross margin for the branch.
Follow up regularly with candidates and customers to maintain relationships to build knowledge of needs and opportunities.
Maintain familiarity with the most effective recruiting tools appropriate to your branch to include: field employee pool, availability list, database searches, internet searches, resume searches, other job boards and organizations.
Turn customer inquiries into orders.
Lead generation for new business and recruiting sources.
Actively market qualified field employees to new and existing customers.
Create attractive and effective ads for newspapers, the internet and other advertising mediums. Regularly reviewcurrent advertising methods, managing changes as needed.
Thoroughly orient all field employees on Volt’s policies, procedures, and expectations.
Insure total customer satisfaction by handling all inquires and resolving problems arising with customer or fieldemployees, including counseling, and involving management when necessary.
Complete all required data entry and necessary paperwork daily.
Participate in networking organizations.
Complete timely data entry of required data into Volt’s automated systems. Maintain consistency and integrity of data.
Additional tasks as needed and assigned.


Requirements:


Type 45 wpm
1 year minimum accounting recruiting experience
Ability to successfully communicate – both verbally and in writing
