A well established professional services company that delivers accounting resource services to major companies in the Washington, DC area is looking for experienced accountants to join their team.

Your responsibilities will be to provide high-caliber accounting services to assist with the implementation of priority financial work for various clients. You’ll assist in areas such as SOX internal control documentation, evaluation and testing, merger integration issues, problem accounting issues, both internal and external reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, audit preparation support, and other special projects.

Desired applicants will have 3 to 8 years of experience working in Public Accounting and/or Corporate industries. Additionally knowledge with SOX, FAS and GAAP is helpful. Applicants should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and communication skills that include implementing initiatives, and creating efficiencies with improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have:
•CPA License or MBA helpful
•Degree in Accounting or Finance with a GPA of 3.0 or better
•3 to 8 years of experience with corporate accounting and public accounting combined
•Knowledge of SOX regulations, FAS and GAAP requirements
•Excellent analytical, software and oral and written communication skills
