Account Director

ARS Direct is currently searching for an Account Director for their client in New York, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing company with great benefits.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Sell full range of our client’s services and capabilities to new and existing clients. Manage and expand long-term client relationships. Model world class relationship management in the customer's office and within Forum.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES:

•Generate sales in assigned accounts/portfolio through direct sales, networking, and marketing events. Find, develop, and retain key accounts.

•Use strategic selling approach to identify, target and penetrate companies with needs appropriate to Forum services and products. Consistently link the company’s capabilities with client’s business issues and strategic objectives.

•Actively engage in prospecting activities. Concentrate on new business development opportunities in targeted new logo accounts as well as new buying center relationships in existing clients.

•Qualify all accounts.

•Work with client senior line management as well as Human Resources executives.

•Develop winning proposals and deliver presentations with other resources as appropriate.

• Be knowledgeable about the business issues facing all dominant industries in his/her portfolio and how training services can help solve them.

•Responsible for the overall satisfaction and profitability of each client account.

•Regularly work with client senior line management.

•Target sales of $400,000k annually.

•Meet/exceed orders, revenue & contribution targets.

•Identify future trends in market.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Experience/
Environment:10 Years of sales experience in a complex business environment with emphasis on selling of intangible services to leading corporations. Experience with new business development and maintaining relationships. Established relationships with the HR community a plus.

Education:Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in business or organizational development is a plus.

Technical Skills:Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills; extensive knowledge of business/economic environment; forecasting skills; strong customer-centered selling skills. Ability to present and defend point of view constructively and persuasively.

Managerial Skills:Time and project team management skills. Very strong influence skills. Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills. Budget development/management skills.

Professional Skills:Independent; self driven; well-organized; inspires confidence in self and Forum; models customer focus. Works well under pressure. Demonstrates sound business judgment, common sense and insight. Insatiable curiosity and drive to succeed. Perseverant and upbeat. Understands how to work with senior level management.
