Senior Contracts Administrator
Location: McLean, VABearingPoint, Inc. is one of the world's largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firm serving Global 2,000 companies, Federal Government agencies including the Department of Defense and other organizations. The Company, provides business and technology strategy, systems design, architecture, applications implementation, network, systems integration and managed services.Key Role:Independently review requests for proposal (RFPs) and assist Project Leaders with technical and cost proposal preparation. Participate in and may develop proposal pricing; responsible for final review of cost proposals and obtaining proper authorization for proposal release. Assist with development of Statements of Work (SOWs). Submit and negotiate proposals. Prepare and/or review, execute and track Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), software licenses and other related documents. Independently review all BearingPoint contracts for close out. Negotiate all outstanding issues including overruns and obtain additional funding where necessary. Also independently negotiate fixed fees for all Level of Effort type contracts in close-out where minimum requirements have not been met.Assist in the preparation of all internal close out packages for corporate officer sign off to include final voucher, DD 882 forms, Property Closeout Statements, and all other certifications required for close out, including all internal and external close out correspondence. Regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion in solving complex contract close out and internal business issues.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. Four years of experience in contract *Negotiation/administration, preferably specializing in Government contracts.

The ability to manage multiple contracts of varying types and size through the contracts administration process.

Excellent understanding of government contracts laws and regulations.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel in a Windows environment is required.

Experience using Power Point and Access is preferred.

Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to influence people.

Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions, manage workload and meet deadlines independently.

Demonstrated strong verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of people across functional organizations within BearingPoint, the Government, and external auditors.
