Project Manager runs wind power projects from bid preparation through final client acceptance. The Wind Project Manager will assist with client proposals and project estimates, contract administration, equipment and material procurement, scheduling and costing, supervision of project, staff oversight and mentoring, risk management and quality control.

Wind Energy projects are fast paced intensive endeavors with construction completion times generally less than 12 months from start to finish. Client companies have both fixed and on-site positions, the latter involving extensive travel and generous travel packages. Current projects are sited at multiple locations across the country and provide an opportunity to work away from the hustle and bustle of congested metropolitan areas.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a 4 year engineering degree, plus a minimum of 8 years experience as a project manager in industrial construction or large commercial construction. Experience in large site logistics, road work, heavy lifting, electrical work and/or other industrial experience is preferred.

Project Managers must be proven self-starters, independent performers, computer literate professional with specific knowledge of Primavera, Timberline or similar project management software. Computer literacy in multiple programs is required.

For fixed non-site based positions relocation is required.
