Trade Sales Manager

SUMMARY: Location: Denver, CO Responsible for the total Trade/Commercial Sales business segment (including the new construction/replacement and remodeling contractor, builder, developer, architect arena) volume and profitability, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain as well as develop the Trade/Commercial Sales division to accomplish Pella’s mission and strategy in this key segment. Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will directly manage 7-10 sales representatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Talent Development: Attract, interview, hire or sub-contract, train, evaluate, motivate, coach and manage the associates within this business segment. Develop and implement sales processes/metrics in order to effectively penetrate the market share. 2. Financial: Will develop and achieve the business plan and financial forecasts for this business segment. This includes market share penetration, sales volume growth and profitability. 3. Customer Satisfaction: Is responsible for the customer’s high satisfaction of all components of this solution sale of Pella products and services. 4. Works closely with General Manager to make sure jobs are completed on timely basis in order to avoid monetary holdbacks. 5. Marketing & Advertising: Will lead all efforts to drive marketing and advertising to increase market share. 6. Ability to understand this competitive market/industry and implement a business plan that will effectively and aggressively penetrate the market share within the appropriate territory.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * 4-year college degree in Management/Marketing or equivalent experience. * Minimum 3 years of Sales Management experience. * 5+ years experience in the consumer direct sales and service industry representing a premium brand – ability to effectively grow and manage a sales force. * Building industry and specifically window and door industry experience preferred.
