Tenant Improvements Superintendent

The job -
This position is accountable for the successful on-site construction of jobs assigned by the project manager. Success is measured as job completion to specifications, within budgeted time and dollars. It is also gauged by owner satisfaction. This position is accountable for assisting the project manager as required to achieve success at the job site, as well as the following:
Run basic tenant improvement and remodel projects.
Comprehend and execute working documents.
Identify, flag and track change order needs.
Lead company workers, stage materials, and manage subcontracted workers to execute upon plans.
Manage multiple work crews to achieve maximum efficiency and avoid waste.
Enforce safety methods.
Serve as full-time representative to the client/owner and to the subcontractor reps.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have excellent customer relations skills, possess top quality experience in supervising trades for multiple tenant improvement projects simultaneously and possess an impeccable eye for quality and safety, as well as the following:
5 years experience managing construction projects on-site.
Familiarity with all major trades, standard trade practices, standard tools used.
High school diploma or equivalent.
English and Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
