Traffic/Yard Manager

Fabcon, LLC, a leading manufacturer of pre-stressed concrete wall panels, has an immediate opening for a Traffic/Yard Manager at our Grove City, OH location.

The Traffic/Yard Manager is responsible for overall operations of the Yard, including but not limited to: Shipping of wall panels, negotiating hauling rates, scheduling work hours for yard crew, making sure all jobs are ready to be shipped, maintaining yard inventory, interviewing, hiring, and training all yard employees, managing all issues in the yard, maintaining weekly hours, inspecting trucks at departure, ensuring safe yard operations, managing yard budget and improving yard practices.

Qualifications include the following: College or Technical degree preferred, 5 years of construction/logistics experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, good people skills, mechanical experience helpful, management skills, the ability to plan ahead, read blueprints, conflict management and problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
