Superintendent – Paint Contractor

Well-established, growing, reputable painting and wall covering contractor in the Orlando area has an immediate opportunity for a Superintendent. The steady, rapid growth of our company has created the need to hire someone who can step in and immediately run projects. This position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.

Essential Duties

•Provide leadership and direction large commercial painting projects;
•Effectively manage and schedule lead foreman and craftsmen to complete all projects on-time and within budget;
•Insure that all projects meet the high quality standards required by our company;
•Responsible for monitoring profitability of jobs;
•Verifiable ability to write reports, business correspondence and be able to read plans;
•Management by example with the ability to solve practical problems;
•Professional aptitude to attend job site meetings and interact with customers;
•Ensure that strict safety standards are followed at all times;

Essential Qualifications

•Minimum five years supervisory experience in the commercial painting industry;
•Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and at or below budget;
•Demonstrated ability to effectively manage operators, craftsman and vendors;
•A valid drivers license with acceptable driving record capable of passing DMV verification
•OHSA certifications are a plus.
