Sr. Superintendent- Albuquerque, NM

We are a national General Contractor providing complex renovation, TI and design/build construction services around the country. Scope of Responsibility:Primary responsibility is to direct the day-to-day field construction activities for multiple job site operations. Responsibilities include directing and supervising one or more superintendents, subcontractors and providing quality control checks.Position Duties: Supervise all activities related to the field. Visit all jobs on regular basis to observe and assess the productivity, quality, safety, scheduling procedures and report to the SSR and PMs as needed. Oversee the scheduling of each project.
Supervise, coordinate and schedule subcontractors and job site operations. Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements for noise and dust control, non-interruption of Government activities, and utility shutdown procedures.
Provide assistance to Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Program to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel at the job sites. Provide job site quality control checks to ensure the best possible product in accordance with the Quality Control Plan. Oversee the preparation of accurate, detailed, written daily reports for each job. Together with the Project Manager, prepare agenda and hold job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress with minutes distributed to all parties. Maintain communications with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project among the on-site office, job site operations and subcontractors/suppliers for the project.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10+ years experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor. Should have considerable renovation type project exp.
Experience in supervising multiple subcontractors on multiple construction and repair projectsOSHA Safety Course Certification, Red Cross First Aid; and CPR CertificationMust be a US Citizen
