Special Projects Manager

Manage construction related to remodels and special project programs and ?one off? requests.Work closely with CVS field personnel, internal CVS departments, construction companies to determine best approach and methods to be utilized.Approve and ensure timely payment to companies and other vendors for work performed on behalf of CVS.Follow all standard operating procedures related to remodels and pharmacy renovations.Attend project meetings and visit stores to provide input and support for various projects.Determine resources to be utilized for each project. Consider magnitude and complexity of project and financial implications.Provide support to various departments to assist in program rollouts and the coordination/installation of other corporate initiatives.Ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to by all parties involved (contractors, vendors, outsource companies).Work closely with Strategic Procurement, Store Set Up and construction contractors to develop and implement better, more cost effective processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Education should consist of Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management or Organizational Management.Minor in Construction Technology preferred.Ability to read construction drawings/blueprints.Good communication skills are a must.Computer skills required including Autocad and Microsoft Office.Experience should consist of 2 to 4 years in the construction field including time in a fast-growth retail environment.
