Inexperienced and Experienced Soils and Concrete Technicians
Description: Geoscience Group, Inc. has provided consulting engineering and survey services in the Charlotte region for over 15 years. Our Construction Materials department is looking for both inexperienced technicans to train and experienced soils and concrete technicians to provide special inspection testing services for projects in Mecklenburg County. Responsibilities will include soil and concrete observation and testing, nuclear gauge operation, etc.Requirements –At a minimum, a current NC drivers license and a clean driving record, along with a high school diploma, are required. Applicants will need good math and writing skills, willingness to accept a flexible work schedule and the ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Experienced applicants should provide details on any certifications they hold, specifically ACI, ICC and NICET. Preference will be given to applicants with NICET Level 2 certifications.
