Properly fit guests with appropriate snowriding equipment; boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, following DIN and other industry standards and guidelines.Tune and repair all rental equipment after each use utilizing techniques and training provided.Responsible for daily inventory control.Maintain merchandising stock and displays, creating an organized and visually exciting shop.Maintain clean working environment including running vacuum, washing shop windows, etc. as needed.To outfit guests with ski and snowboard rentals while adhering strictly to industry mandated guidelines and sell retail merchandise, offering excellent customer service and professional advice while operating a computer/cash register accurately in a well maintained environment.
Offer excellent customer service and professional advice in selecting merchandise.
Assist with taking physical inventories.
Operate a computer/cash register and accurately handle monetary transactions.
Take steps daily to control shrinkage, i.e., loss of merchandise to theft.
Provide guests with accurate information about the property and other area attractions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Computer/cash register skills. Very strong verbal communication skills. General mathematical skills required. Must understand U.S. currency and be able to make change.
One year cashiering experience preferably in a retail environment.
