Site Safety Coordinator

Purpose: An ENR Top 400 General Contractor here in San Francisco is seeking 3 Site Safety Coordinators for long term employment!

Responsibilities will include enforcement of construction site-specific safety plans, as well as managing and enforcing the safety of subcontractors as you work toward decreasing the number of accidents/injuries, improving safety culture, performance and awareness. Candidate will split time between the office and the construction sites ensuring that OSHA compliance is met and that a safe work environment is implemented.

A minimum of 2 years of safety experience with a commercial general contractor is required. Candidates must be OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certified. Experience dealing with laborers, carpenters, equipment operators, masons, etc, is also required; therefore, candidates who came up through the trades are preferred.
