Simon Roofing is seeking the following professionals in Nashville and its surrounding areas:
SERVICE TECHNICIAN FOREMAN
Must have the ability to detect problems, leaking, blisters, flashing problems, splits in membranes, wrinkles, shrinkage, and fishmouths. Familiar with the use of Bitumen, Felts, Insulation, Vapor Barriers, Venting, Fastenings, and Surfaces is preferred. Special consideration will be given to those with knowledge of the inspections of BUR (Built Up Roofing). Foreman will be responsible for completing service projects within or below estimated man hours and material totals while holding to Simon Roofing safety and quality standards. Foreman needs to ensure excellent customer relations, be a team player, train and motivate others, assist with performance reviews, and maintain excellent communication with the worker and service management team. Service Foreman will be required to work in a very strenuous environment, climbing ladders, bending, and reaching in very hot high locations including lifting heavy material. This requires team work and the ability to be creative in fixing problems.

ROOFING FOREMAN
Must be able to complete roofing projects within or below the estimated labor and material totals while upholding Simon Roofing safety and quality standards. At the same time, ensures that excellent customer relations are maintained. Qualified candidate must have minimum of 7 years overall commercial roofing experience; 3 years in commercial roofing as a BUR and Single Ply Foreman with an emphasis on BUR; of the 3 years of experience as a Foreman at least 2 years required managing crews of 8 or more; knowledge in reading blueprints, filling out timesheets, truck logs, daily job and safety reports; ability to install all BUR, Single Ply, and Sheet Metal details to NRCA specifications; ability to train and instruct inexperienced workers on good roofing practices and safety procedures; must be English speaking and have valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to travel freely and ability to pass a background check to work on federal projects.
