There are three (3) specialties in these roles: Operation Metrics, Metrics and Insights, and Profitability and Predictive Modeling, each with unique skills preferences.
Operation Metrics
The position will perform data mining, analysis and reporting of results related to the customer operational metrics. Additionally, this position will further develop United's customer operational metrics program to better drive strategic insights and create appropriate action plans for stations and senior leadership. The candidate will also serve as an internal consultant across functional divisions to assist in providing information and making recommendations on a how to improve the defined metrics.
2-4 years of progressive experience in operational roles and consumer research is required - including experience with survey design, data analysis and presentations on strategic insights.
Profitability & Predictive Modeling
The position will perform data mining, analysis and reporting of results related to customer segmentation and profitability. Additionally, this position will further develop United's customer segmentation and help build business cases for Customer Experience Initiatives. The candidate will also serve as an internal consultant across to the Customer Experience Organization and partner with functional divisions (finance and revenue management) to assist in making recommendations on a variety of customer satisfaction and revenue generating initiatives.
2-4 years of progressive experience in finance or revenue management - including clear data analysis and presentations with strategic insights.
Metrics and Insights
The position will perform data mining, analysis and reporting of results related to the corporations' customer satisfaction program. Additionally, this position will further develop United's customer satisfaction program to better drive strategic insights and create appropriate action plans for our senior leadership. The candidate will also serve as an internal consultant across functional divisions to assist in providing information and making recommendations on a variety of customer satisfaction initiatives.
2-4 years of progressive experience in consumer research is required, including experience with survey design, data analysis and presentations on strategic insights.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics or related degree is required. Advanced degree in consumer research or related field highly desired. The candidate should be highly analytic and be able to effectively design projects which conclude with calculated recommendations to the management team. Must be a creative problem solver and have a passion for analyzing customer information to identify value creation opportunities. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and the desire to present to all levels within the corporation. Experience with various software products including, SPSS, SAS, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Business Intelligence tools (example Cognos), is strongly preferred. Must be able to work independently as well as in team environments.
