Senior Plan Examiner

The Senior Plan Examiner position is responsible for managing teams or subcontractors who will advise landlords through the development cycle of the LA Rental Program. The Sr Plan Examiner should be knowledgeable of LA Housing Depts requirements, policies and procedures, basic elements of small multifamily mortgage lending for improvement and operation and the best practices for construction management, CDBG, lead hazards reduction.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have 2 yrs experience providing construction oversight service. Financial or housing management experience a plus and 12 years of construction management, engineering or real estate development. HS diploma and 2 yrs college, business, real estate, or technical school at an accredited education institution. BS degree desired. Ability to read blueprints and second language desirable.
