Senior Construction TrainerTraining Duties
Provide new-hire construction employees with training in Perry Construction procedures.
Provide management with evaluations on new hire graduates.
-Type memo to Division Presidents in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio operations of evaluation.
Develop training classes for the two phases of the Perry Construction Staff.
-Go to field to look for problem areas
-Solve problem
-Present solution to Construction Managers
Constantly update training materialsField Duties
Liaison between field and design; verify design problems exposed by construction.
Liaison between field and estimating; verify estimating problems exposed by construction
Liaison between design and estimating.
Research new construction products and procedures and monitor implementation in experimental home.
Evaluate and offer solutions to construction problems as requested by the field, Purchasing, Design, or the President of Operations.
Evaluate and report on construction quality.

-Discuss with Project Manager, Division Presidents & President of Houston, Dallas, San Antonio Operations
Aid in the monitoring of construction safety and develop and initiate safety procedures for field.
-Deal with insurance company
-Find problem area
-Develop safety plan to alleviate problemAdministrative Duties
Remain current with OSHA, Hazard Communication, and Fall Protection standards for residential construction. Responsible for implementation of standards in the field.
Coordinate updates of the Perry Spec Book.
-Read Spec Book to determine any needed changes in specification or technique.
-Call Management or field to get input on changes.
Remain current with Windstorm Requirements.
Participate in cost-control meetings offering solutions to control cost, new construction materials, marketing and labor processes.
Participate in Cost Production meetings.
Constructions advisor for new product markets.
Interact with Dallas, and San Antonio Construction Division Presidents and find solutions to identified problems.
Work with field, R.W.C. and corporate council regarding warranty issues.
From time to time must complete projects on short notice with extreme time constraints.

9.Mathematical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and basic geometryEducation:College Degree Preferred. Experience in lieu of degree.
