Senior Civil Transportation Engineer (DE9151)

Creates and Develops engineering plans, specifications, estimates, schedules, and change orders for public and company improvements.

(Local transportation systems, road widening, reconstruction and rehabilitation and traffic signal installation.).

Maintains education and development of latest trends, standards, and innovations in civil/municipal engineering.

Conducts quality checks and accuracy of all documents, reports, data information and calculations.

Attends public and board meetings of municipal and civil engineering clients.

Participation in professional societies, and reviewing trade publications.

Able to understand and work with municipal/civil staffs, design engineers and Government agencies.
REQUIREMENTS
6-8 Years Experience in Design of Municipal Infrastructure.

Knowledgeable in roadway and storm sewer systems. SCHGEE.

BS in Civil Engineering.

PE Civil Engineer preferred.

Working knowledge of IDOT requirements.

Excellent skills in computer software including Microsoft Office 2000.

Knowledgeable in AutoCAD.

Ability to write technical reports and articles.

Excellent Written, Hearing, Vision and Verbal skills.
