Senior Civil Engineer - Environmental Engineer - Bay Area

A recognized leader in environmental consulting is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer for their Bay Area office. This position may lead to a promotion to Principal within the firm; ownership opportunities may also be available. The qualified individual will be part of the office management team responsible for developing and implementing an aggressive growth and profit-based business plan.


Background of an ideal candidate:


Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; Master's degree preferred


Five to ten years of relevant work experience in civil engineering design, construction, and project management


Professional registration desirable


Self-motivated candidates who are able to work as part of a design team


Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Ability to think clearly


Ability to prepare technical reports, supporting documents, and calculations


Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access


Experience producing design documents with AutoCAD and AutoDesk Land Development Desktop is desirable.




Duties and responsibilities for this position:


Development of design documents, drawings, and calculations


Evaluating data


Planning remedial action and cost estimating


Conceptual and detailed design of remedial systems and report preparation


Field engineering and construction management
