SWPPP Inspectors

Purpose: Storm Water Inspectors Dynamic environmental consulting/Construction Management firm seeks SWPPP certified inspectors who are willing to work on a project basis. This is an opportunity to begin with contract work for a company that could lead to full time employment!

The most qualified individual will have experience with EPA, SWPPP, Storm Water, Environmental Management, hazardous waste, Construction runoff, Groundwater

The most important qualification is SWPPP inspection. The individual that has been doing this for at least 1-2 years will definitely be considered for this position.

Description of Job:
Inspecting client construction and other sites for compliance with EPA and other regulatory agency regulations;
Preparing accurate and correct inspection reports that do not require manual quality audit;
Executing inspection process and delivery per the established Corporate protocol;
Submitting inspection reports on time with required documentation;
Reporting new construction activity to Project Management;
Assisting with related business activities inside and outside the office as directed by your manager;
Maintaining a positive and professional attitude and appearance in conducting your responsibilities on behalf of the company, your team, and our clients.

Day to Day Tasks:

Conduct assigned inspections
Complete inspection reports
Respond to phone calls and emails
Respond to Manager requests
Respond to Project Manager requests
Begin work day per schedule
Schedule time off in advance whenever possible
Other tasks as assigned

Required Skills:
Time management skills
Attention to detail
Customer Service skills to interface with customers (Superintendents and Project Managers)


Desired Skills:
Ability to travel outside of the your assigned area on short notice
