THE CHALLENGE:

Our client is growing and currently we are representing multiple opportunities from junior level to senior level estimators. You would be estimating on a wide range of projects from 1 million to more than 30 million dollars.

OUR CLIENTS:

They were founded in the 1970s, providing general contracting services in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. They are currently expanding and have an immediate need for junior and senior level estimators due to an enormous pipeline of projects. Your first estimating project is estimated to be worth over $20 million dollars. Some of their clients include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility for performing detailed quantity take-offs and pricing in architectural, electrical, civil/structural and mechanical disciplines using a computerized estimating program for hard bid projects as well as conceptual design build projects around the country.



QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. degree in construction or engineering Minimum 6+ years of related estimating experience on commercial hard bid projects Computer expertise with estimating systems such as Timberline or Pulsar Familiarity with construction means and methods Good understanding of principles, methods, and techniques of architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering for performing detailed quantity take-offs Good oral and written communications skills Experienced hard bid and lump sum estimating Experience with conceptual estimating Experience with design build process.
