This position reports to a Supply Team Leader and is also a member of the NLT's of their respective plants.Key measurements include:Service: Cycles, Fill Rate, On Time Delivery
IFO: Management of Optimal Run Lengths in manufacturing, effective flow of inbound raw materials, effective utilization of Stock Transport Orders and Warehousing
Working Capital: Optimal inventory levels to meet agreed-upon service levels.
Responsible for coordinating activities and communications across the Customer Supply Chain (Materials Management, Logistics, Customer Solutions, Data) as well as the plants, marketing and product management.Competence/CapabilitiesProfessional/Technical Knowledge:
Demonstrated understanding of the principles of supply chain management through a formal 4 year degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines, prior work experience and/or APICS certification including:
Inventory Management and Control
Production Management
Logistics
Sourcing
Working knowledge of SAP and advanced knowledge of appropriate analytical tools such as Excel and Access.
Integration ability: Understands the supply chain interaction
Knowledge of product lines and mixes (e.g., color and types)
Understands customer FFUInterpersonal:
Building Partnerships: The ability to influence others through effective communications and working relationships with diverse functional areas within OC and with external suppliers. Works closely with Customer Solutions, Logistics and Plant leadership.
Planning and organizing: Required to balance the needs of service, production, purchasing and inventories.
Decision Making: Problem Solving, Analysis and willingness to take lead and make decisions.
Initiating Action: Sense of urgency to handle issues in a timely manner with follow-up to customers, suppliers or the plant as necessary.
Quality Orientation: Must be able to ensure accuracy of data in SAP system as it relates to forecast, inventory, production schedules, problem indicators in system, etc.Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
