Position Title: Risk Engineering Construction Subguard

Travel Percentage: Minimum

Job Summary:
This position will provide industry expert risk assessment services for customers and business partners associated with complex risks and/or exposures in the areas of Project
Constructability, Contractor Pre-qualification, Subcontractor Selection and Management, Contractor Performance. and Default, Schedule and Performance Liquidated Damages, Professional Liabilities, and Construction Defects. Will be responsible for advanced marketing of construction risk transfer Insurance products in conjunction with construction underwriting professionals and agents horizontally across company business segments. Collaborate with customers and business partners to develop and execute client specific, risk engineering service plans. This position will also provide consultant based claims analysis for construction risk claims in accordance with specific policy terms and conditions.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years in the construction industry with experience as an assistant project manager and higher including office and field experience.
Experience can also include A/E in a project management capacity or Owner Representative.
Estimating, scheduling, and subcontract management hands on experience; construction claims experience a plus.
A BS/BA degree in engineering or construction management is required.
The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written, required.
