Rehab Project Manager

This national development/construction and project management company is looking for the right person to join our construction team. The PM of Rehab Construction will work to assure the successful completion of several mulit-family renovation projects per year.


• This person will report to the Director of Rehab Construction.
• During Concept/Schematic phases, you will be responsible for developing budgets, construction schedules and operational plans. You will also be the main contact for local building officials and labor unions.
• You will also take a lead role in the Management of Construction Documents. This includes managing the work of the design team and conducting meetings with multi-departmental teams to identify and/or present pertinent issues requiring an action or decision.
• In Pre-Construction phases, you will prepare, disseminate and analyze bid packages to insure their quality, completeness and comparative value.
• During Construction phases, you will be responsible for entering contracts with sub-contractors and suppliers according to AvalonBay policy and procedures. This includes ensuring the integrity of Quality Standards, Schedule Reliability and Budget control.
REQUIREMENTS
* Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering Architecture or related field and 10+ years experience in the field of construction.
• We are seeking a professional with a solid foundation of technical knowledge and analytical business management.
• Strong computer skills are required.
