Regional Sales Manager

Oversee the efficient operation of the Regional Machine Sales for achievement of financial and market share goals. Implement sales objectives for region. Recruit, develop and ensure proper training for sales staff. Ensures achievement of sales goals. Manage budget and meet financial objectives. Visits every branch at least once per month. Makes presentations as needed to customers, employees, sales associations, and Caterpillar. Resolves customer disputes or complaints in a timely manner. Maintains positive, professional, and productive relationships with Caterpillar representatives and other suppliers. Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree form a four-year college or university and five to six years related experience and/or training. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Should have the ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, employees, customers, Caterpillar representatives, and/or boards of directors. Must have the ability to develop and maintain a relationship of trust, confidentiality, and rapport with all levels of employees, customers, and suppliers.
