Quality Control Specialist & Technicians (Asphalt)

This individual is responsible for performing quality control tests for plant mix asphalt i.e. moisture, extraction, ash correction, gradation, asphalt cement content, tensile strength ratios, and rice test. Position also maintains records of all plant and mix changes necessary to correct or solve a mix or plant problem. Candidates must have knowledge of all forms required by the state and contracting agency and be able to document all tests to specification of owners. Individual must remain up to date with new research or techniques that will result in a more efficient or cost effective solution, while assuring Rea's compliance to specifications by any State, FAA or other contracting agency or owner. Must also have knowledge of and comply with all safety policies in field operations, plants and laboratory.
