GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Our client is one of the world's most efficient producers and distributors of ready-mix concrete, cement, and aggregates. They are the biggest cement producer in North America and the largest distributor of cement in the U.S., with a geographically diverse network of 12 cement plants and 48 land distribution centers and marine terminals. REQUIREMENTS
Position Summary (includes, but is not limited to the following):

Quality Control, Ready Mix, Concrete, Aggregates, Cement

* Sample and test ready-mix concrete mixtures, compile data, and prepare reports
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, investigation and resolution of customer issues
* Perform concrete trial batches in laboratory
* Respond to the needs of customers, Quarry Managers and QC Director
* Commitment to and supportive of overall QC Team

Requirements:

Quality Control, Ready Mix, Concrete, Aggregates, Cement

* Bachelor Degree in physical sciences preferred
* Minimum 3 years in Concrete/Aggregate Industry
* Certifications in ACI Field Testing Grade I and ACI Strength Testing (completion within 6 months in the QC Rep position)
* Working knowledge of concrete products, practices, and technology (including cement and aggregates)
* Able to perform mathematical calculations including ratio, proportion, percentage, and basic algebra
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word; including attaching and e-mailing documents
