Lennar, one of America’s leading homebuilders, is currently seeking an experienced Estimator who is motivated, organized, a self-starter with a strong construction background, good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all Associates, Business Partners and Government Agency Representatives As an Estimator you will be responsible for managing all activities involved with bidding new plans/communities and creating and maintaining material take-offs.

As an Estimator you will be expected to perform the following functions:
Estimate materials for new plans and verify quantities against bids obtained
Assist DOP with trade partner negotiations, contract review and approvals
Create and maintain accurate material take-offs
Develop new vendor relations
Assist contract administrators with material unit pricing
Monitor material usage in the field for overages/shortages
Process plan changes

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for the position of Estimator
5 or moreyears experience in estimating residentail Construction is required to apply.
High school diploma
College degree preferred
Valid Florida driver's license
