PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Trammell Crow Company, one of the nation's largest commercial real estate providers, is currently seeking qualified applicants for the following openings in Charlotte, NC.

PROJECT MANAGER -
ELECTRICAL
SYSTEMS

This position will provide construction management, technical support, and expertise to project management team in all project aspects of the work environment and building infrastructure for a major financial institution. Position requires some nights and weekends.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering or equivalent work experience and 5+ years of operational experience with emphasis on infrastructure projects (particularly in a data center environment) and electrical systems. Candidates must also demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be detail oriented and customer service focused. Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project is required. Ability to prepare and succinctly articulate verbal and written technical communications. Posses thorough understanding of project management process.

ACCOUNT

Specific responsibilities include full coordination and management of client interface, programming, A/E, general contractors, furniture partners, and associated service providers from project initiation until closeout using the owner's project management processes to execute projects within the owner's budget and schedule. Project types include major interior space renovations and a variety of specialty projects which require a thorough understanding of design, construction methods, materials, and construction contract documents.

Applicants must have record of successful diplomatic skills necessary to work within sensitive corporate environment with high expectations and diverse personalities; ability to succinctly articulate verbal and written technical communications; ability to prepare and deliver executive summaries; excellent listening skills and professional demeanor; ability to successfully work with local and state government regulatory agencies; ability to work in a team environment.

Candidates must posses a Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, interior design, or related fields. Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience with either an A/E firm, general contractor, and/or corporate facilities or similar position.
