About Us:
Midtown architectural firm specializing in exterior restoration and waterproofing in addition to our new design/build firm seeks two detail-oriented candidates to serve as project managers. Our dynamic firm is seeking aggressive, self-motivated, personable individuals with excellent organizational, communicative and report writing skills. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and interface with clients, contractors and managing agents and work closely with the Principal and Senior Project Architect/Manager.


Project Manager/Architect/Construction Manager


Responsibilities Include:
Survey existing conditions, prepare specifications, drawings, construction/bid documents and conduct field observations (gain hands-on experience).
Attend on-site project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
Conduct field observations, photo document and prepare field reports.
Modify and update drawings to suit observed field conditions and review drawings and details with the contractors.
Prepare change orders and requests for proposals.
Coordinate and schedule work with clients, contractors and managing agents.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Word and Excel are necessary. AutoCAD and Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred; however, a construction background is acceptable.
A basic working knowledge/understanding of building materials and construction management skills are an asset.
1-3 years of experience is preferred, however, we are willing to train the appropriate candidates.
