Project Manager Job - URGENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER!
A fully integrated design/build firm specializing in the construction of industrial facilities nationwide is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a position in Dallas, TX. The candidate must be able to work closely with clients, project managers, and Business Unit Managers. This candidate would be responsible for monitoring and updating job progress, handling project scheduling, tracking costs, performing quantity take-offs or bid solicitations and researching regulatory information. He or she would purchase and coordinate delivery of materials, ensure optimum pricing, negotiate with subcontractors or vendors, review shop drawings/submittals, and attend weekly job site meetings. This candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, subs and other organizations. Relocation is available for this position.
