Project Designer - Land Development

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. is a well respected and growing Planning, Engineering, Architecture, and Landscape Architecture firm serving the mid-Atlantic region. Our full-service, in-house team equips us with the resources necessary to provide design and construction phase services for a diverse range of development projects. We currently have a Project Designer position available in our Towson, MD office.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in mixed use retail, residential and/or commercial Civil design including utilities, storm drains, sediment and erosion control design experience. This position will interface with a Project Engineer or Manager and will work in all areas of land development. Growth potential exists to spend additional time in the areas of project design, plan preparation, client coordination, and tracking project status, interfacing with clients and public agencies and assisting with budgets and invoicing.

We are also seeking a Project Manager at the Towson office with at least 5 years of experience managing full service land development projects. The successful individual must demonstrate strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and organize a diverse workforce.

REQUIREMENTS
-BS Degree in Civil Engineering
-2 or more years experience in Civil design including experience in stormwater management, utility design and sediment control.
-Proficiency with AutoCAD 2002-2006
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work 8AM - 5PM Monday through Friday in Towson, MD with occasional additional hours
