Project/Construction Engineer 1 - CCI

Construction Engineer position for our environmental services group. Plans, monitors and supervises on-site construction engineering for a particular project. Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard construction engineering techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger project. Must be capable of exercising independent judgement in evaluating, selecting and applying standard construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make minor adaptations and modifications. Assignments have clear and specific objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables. • Reviews and modifies schedules, specifications, and drawings for a detailed segment of a project.
• Insures project engineering activities comply with company and client requirements.
• Recognizes construction or engineering problems and applies standard techniques and procedures to resolve same.
• Coordinates drawing schedules, project schedules, and contract schedules with design engineering activities.
• Evaluates alternate construction methods.
• Initiates field changes to drawings and specifications.
• Reviews and comments on contract specifications.




job Requirements



B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Mnaagement from a U.S. accredited college or university or additional years experience.

5 years applicable experience required. Must have construction and environmental experience.

Travel required.
