Please call Linda Meacham at 281-877-0707 if you meet the requirements!Program Management Office (PMO) AssistantOur client's 40-member project team is looking for an experienced Project Assistant to provide a wide variety of administration; project management and office support ensuring smooth and efficient running of the program office. This position reports to the PMO Manager and will be responsible for providing administrative, secretarial and some technical support for project team in their Houston TX office. The successful candidate will coordinate office administrative functions including project accounting, project management support, office maintenance, copy room, kitchens and common areas, coordinating in-house business meetings, travel arrangements, ordering and maintaining office inventory, file management and other office administration as deemed appropriate. Technical aspects of the job include updating Visio diagrams, oversight of the collaboration environment (Oracle Collab suite), set up of ids and access for consultants and other coordination with the IT staff.Note: To be considered, your resume must meet specific position requirements and you must identify either the job title or job code for a specific open position. REQUIREMENTS
Characteristics needed to be successful include strong communication skills, self-starter, independent worker, and highly resourceful. Applicants will possess excellent IT skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, Visio, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and master new software and technical skills quickly. Prefer experience with previous project management assignments and some oil and gas business knowledge. This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills to handle internal customers and vendors and work with a diverse team of company employees and consultants. Must be able establish priorities, meet deadlines, and handle multiple competing tasks and demands. Candidate must possess strong written and oral communications skills along with strong organizational skills. Minimum 2 years of administrative experience required.
