An efficient RMIS is both necessary and crucial to the effective quality assurance, implementation, and administration of a wrap-up insurance program.A wrap-up consolidates (or "wraps up") insurance coverage for multiple general and subcontractors working on a project into one program negotiated, purchased and managed by a single sponsor.DESCRIPTION:
Under the direct supervision of a Program Manager, performs responsible, enrolled contractor-focused duties in connection with the administration of assigned wrap up programs, including all quality control of project credit verification and tracking, enrollment, certification, claims, risk control coordination processes, and ongoing interface with project Sponsors, contractors of all tiers, insurers and Aon Service Center.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Meets with the Program Manager or Senior Program Administrator, as appropriate, to discuss program implementation and the operational and reporting processes for the specific wrap up program.2. Conducts the insurance portion of Sponsor's pre bid meetings with contractors to describe the general provisions and requirements of the wrap up program, including instructions on how insurance costs are to be accounted for and calculated in contractors' bids.3. Conducts the insurance portion of Sponsor's pre construction meetings with the selected contractor(s) to provide detailed instructions for program enrollment, credit calculation, certification requirements, payroll reporting, claims reporting and contract termination.4. At the request of the prime contractor(s) or Sponsor, conducts wrap up program orientation meetings for subcontractors to provide detailed instructions for program enrollment, credit calculation, certification requirements, payroll reporting, claims reporting and contract termination.5. Obtains all contractor and subcontractor program enrollment forms using the appropriate form and level of contact to avoid or minimize delinquencies, reviews the forms for completeness, resolves any discrepancies, and forwards the forms to the Wrap up Data Center for processing, retaining copies in the local administration office.6. Depending upon the specific credit methodology of the wrap up program, obtains contractor credit forms in a timely fashion, verifies contractor costs, analyzes each for completeness, advises the prime contractor(s) and Sponsor of the results of the credit analysis (i.e. the initial insurance credit and the insurance credit rate), and forwards the forms to the Wrap up Data Center for processing, retaining copies in the local administration office.7. Depending upon the specific 'off site' certificate collection methodology of the wrap up program, obtains all contractor and subcontractor certificates of insurance evidencing the required contractor-provided coverages, reviews them for accuracy, resolves any discrepancies, and forwards them to the Wrap up Data Center for processing, retaining copies in the local administration office.8. Monitors claims as reported by the insurers and works with contractors on claims issues.9. Performs related program functions as assigned.SPECIAL SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Knowledge of construction practices, construction project administration and construction insurance.
Ability to handle multiple, non congruent tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school graduation; college level coursework, or its equivalent, in insurance or risk management is highly desirable.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Possession of an insurance broker, agent or producer license in the project's state of operation.
