Plumbing Designer - Denver

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc., is an employee-owned engineering design and facility consulting firm with 420 employees in nine offices across the United States. We provide a wide spectrum of consulting services related to facility and infrastructure design, operation and management. We deliver services for facilities nationwide, including healthcare, education, science and technology, research, sports and entertainment, government, corrections, infrastructure, commercial and industrial clients.

We are currently looking for an experienced Plumbing Designer to join our Denver, Colorado office.

The ideal candidate will be self motivated and able to work with a broad range of people. This designer must have the ability to multi-task and handle several projects at one time. This candidate must be detailed and able to work with strict deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS
Position Requirements:
- 3+ years of design experience in Consulting Engineering in Institutional Facilities, Research Labs, Higher Education Buildings, Health Care, Hospitals and Commercial buildings Design

- Knowledge of general plumbing layout and design

- Ability to Multi-task on diverse assignments

- Ability to meet strict deadlines

- Experience with Boiler, Hot Water Systems with storage, a plus

- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation is required
