Nortrax, Inc., a major distributor of John Deere heavy construction equipment, has an immediate opening for a Parts Manager for its Memphis, TN location. The general responsibilities of the Parts Manager is to manage inventory, sale and distribution of John Deere and “all makes” parts within the branch location. Responsible for meeting and exceeding parts sales and gross profit margin goals and objectives.

Primary Duties:Develop, implement and manage the annual department business plan within the branchManage operating and capital budgets to attain or exceed sales, financial and gross profit targetsAssist in developing marketing strategy to assist in selling productSupervise the work of multiple Parts Counter Sales RepsTrain subordinates in sales techniques such as suggestive selling and closing skillsInsure an adequate inventory to satisfy internal and external customer needs and expectationsHandle customer problems as required to insure loyalty and return businessMonitor and manage reporting programs to insure accuracy and timeliness of informationManage the warehousing and shipment of partsReport status of achievement of goals and objectives to Regional Parts Manager on a regular basisServe as Petty CashierAttend training and parts meetings as required to stay current on new product and dealsMake it easier for customers to do businessNortrax offers a highly competitive salary and commission plan, a strong team environment and excellent benefits.

REQUIREMENTS
College degree and/or experience in heavy industrial equipment parts sales preferred.
